Yamagata Kaku Implements Sustainable and Low-Carbon Lifestyle by the Trilogy of Sustainability:
1.Awarded the 2-star certification of the international GTS Green Travel Guide:The GTS Green Travel Seal consists of 10 major criteria focused on global sustainability and green tourism, emphasizing friendly procurement and local contributions. We are committed to sustainable growth and collaboration with local industries to promote cultural tourism and share the beauty of the Lanyang region.
2.Source Management and Plastic Reduction: Initiatives include reducing single-use plastic in their own products and services. Collaborating with suppliers to develop innovative packaging materials and encouraging a planned reduction approach, such as offering consumer incentives to minimize the use of disposable containers. The goal is to promote a sustainable circular economy.
3.Creating a Better Environment: The aim is to incorporate environmental and social aspects into the decision-making process and have a positive impact on the upstream and downstream supply chains. Yamagata Kaku works with suppliers to strengthen their positive influence on the environment and society, continuously driving toward this goal.
4.Implementing energy-efficient LED bulbs throughout the entire facility, including outdoor signage, and water-saving sensor-operated toilets.
5.Rooftop installation of solar panels, generating electricity and reducing carbon emissions by approximately 48 tons per year.
6.Providing guests with eco-cards to opt-out of daily bed linen and towel changes to save water and cleaning agents.
